Surveying His Domain I totally love fog at night, horses, and rainbows around moons. Oh, and blowy stuff, like fringe, capes, hair, etc. 'Twas fun and interesting trying to depict a night scene without making it either too dark or too bright. Had to be careful not to let the colours get too saturated, but also had to keep them from becoming strickly grey scale. Those mountains are vaguely representative of a photo from Austria. Anyone who says you shouldn't use black in a painting has not attempted to paint a night scene. Good night everyone! Oh yah...you can find close-ups here and progression steps here.
